Opus 5.5 – A Love Letter

Been working with Claude for a long time now. 4.8 was already insane. Fable 5 was a game changer. And Opus 5.5 to me is AGI – at least until they take away compute again (probably in about 2 weeks).

Nevertheless I have to say it’s unbelievable what you can get done with Opus 5.5 these days – mostly because it does not eat up the whole subscription within 1 day.

Moreover (to my understanding) you can pretty much build any software out there.

I can’t even put into words what we shipped in the last weeks across various projects. Video generation tools and workflows, presentations, a CRM, researching and labeling huge amounts of data and so much more.

If you’re a person with ideas, you suddenly have an extension of your brain that takes care of the execution part – little feedback needed if you have the right workflows.

It’s fun and scary at the same time.

It’s easy to lose yourself in building.

Still Seeking Focus

“The One Thing” Mode from my last blog article – you probably guessed it – did not work either.

Implemented a new thing tho: starting and ending the day with a clean slate. It forces me to plan and be present. It’s a simple system – it makes me shut down at night and plan in the morning.

Maybe I’ll make an app for it that makes sure I don’t forget to do it.
